Visibility at the Endpoint: The SANS 2014 Survey of Endpoint Intelligence
This webcast will discuss the results of the SANS Analyst Program's 2014 survey of endpoint intelligence, which comes at a time when IT security appears to be more difficult than ever before. Despite the promise of protection through implementation of firewalls, antivirus software and host-based intrusion prevention systems (HIPS), businesses and government experience intrusions and endpoint compromises without respite. This survey asked participants about their visibility into endpoints and their experiences dealing with endpoint compromises. The discussion will address the challenges and opportunities identified by survey participants in detecting and responding to endpoint intrusions.
