Cybersecurity Course and Certification

The top-performing 250 students in CyberStart will be selected to move on to SANS' Foundations SEC275 course, the same training taken by real-world cybersecurity professionals in industry and Government. On completion of the course, students will be prepared to test for the GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT). Students selected for STEP 2 should plan to spend an additional 20 hours per week for six weeks (June 20-July 30) to complete the course and certification. More information will be provided about STEP 2 upon selection. A $20.00 registration fee will be required.
