Government demand for use of cloud based services continues to grow dramatically. GSA's Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is the approved method of certification and accreditation of cloud services for Federal Government use. FedRAMP has certified 10 cloud services providers to date and the FedRAMP process will become mandatory in June 2014.

On 20 November at 1pm EST, SANs will be hosting a webinar titled \FedRAMP Update: Secure Government Use of Cloud Services" to provide the security with an update on current FedRAMP status, near term plans and milestones and information on the long term impact of FedRAMP on government certification and accreditation processes.

Join John Pescatore, SANS Director of Emerging Security Trends and Matt Goodrich, GSA FedRAMP Program Manager for this one hour webinar to gain guidance on how to best practices for taking advantage of the FedRAMP effort to advance secure use of cloud services in government.
