A Year’s Worth of Cybersecurity Training in 6 Immersive Days

SANSFIRE 2027 is a six-day cybersecurity training event held in person and online. Attendees choose from more than 30 courses covering cyber defense, offensive operations, digital forensics, cloud security, and AI security, each taught by a practicing security professional and mapped to a GIAC certification exam.

SANS Live Training

Courses Taught by Working Practitioners

Each course pairs lecture with hands-on labs built around real attacker techniques. Instructors are practitioners first. The expert teaching incident response is running IR engagements. The expert teaching offensive security is red-teaming for a living.

Most courses map to a GIAC certification exam, so what's covered in the classroom is verifiable outside it. The week also includes evening talks, hands-on workshops, and 2 NetWars tournaments, with time to compare notes with instructors and peers solving the same problems at their own organizations.

Investigate and contain active security incidents using the same response methodology taught in SANS's incident handling courses.

  • Learn the tools and techniques attackers actually use, then apply that knowledge to close the gaps they'd exploit.
  • Secure industrial control systems and SCADA environments where uptime and safety can't be compromised.
  • Turn threat intelligence into faster detection and response, instead of another feed nobody reads.

A special discounted rate of $242.00 S/D plus applicable taxes will be honored based on space availability. A limited number of Government Per Diem rooms at the prevailing rate are available with proper ID.

There is a daily discounted destination fee of $10 per room, per day, plus applicable taxes. Destination fee includes high-speed wireless internet in guest rooms, access to 24hr fitness center, bottled water, and daily newspapers. Destination fee is waived for any Government per diem rooms.
