Courses Offered for Security Professionals at All Levels

  • Bethesda, MD
  • November 16, 2017

SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced SANS Las Vegas 2018 taking place January 28 - February 2. The event will feature hands-on immersion style training courses that provide security professionals with the skills they need to protect an organization from the latest cyber attacks. For those wishing to take their penetration testing skills to the next level, SANS will offer its SEC642: Advanced Web Application Penetration Testing, Ethical Hacking, and Exploitation Techniques course.

According to Adrien de Beaupre (@adriendb), co-author and instructor of SEC642 and member of SANS' Internet Storm Center, "In light of the breach at Equifax, never has the importance of application security been more evident. Web application security testing assessments, done correctly and in a timely fashion, could easily have indicated the requirements for mitigation in this and many other examples. SEC642: Advanced Web Application Penetration Testing, Ethical Hacking, and Exploitation Techniques provides attendees with the knowledge and techniques to perform practical and necessary security assessments against modern applications. It is the follow on course after other introductory classes in web application security."
