  • July 20, 2017

SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced its return to Maryland September 25 - 30. SANS Baltimore Fall 2017 features hands-on immersion style security training courses to help InfoSec professionals at all levels advance their career and develop skills to better protect their organization. Included among the course offerings is MGT514: IT Security Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership taught by G. Mark Hardy (@g_mark).

According to Hardy, Principal Instructor at SANS, "Security managers rarely have the opportunity to benefit from the types of lessons offered by leading business schools. MGT514 changes that -- offering two days of business strategy, a day of security policy, and two days of leadership training. For those responsible for running any size business unit in the security space, this course is a must. We bring together in one week the wisdom and knowledge of more than 25 different books and authors, making MGT514 a truly essential component for anyone who aspires to technical leadership.
