SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced the agenda for SANS Atlanta 2017 taking place in Atlanta, GA May 30 - June 4. SANS Atlanta 2017 will feature hands-on immersion style training courses for those new to information security as well as highly seasoned professionals. Included among the bonus evening discussions is a talk by the Founder and President of CardKill and a SANS instructor, G. Mark Hardy, on The End of Banking as We Know It.

According to G. Mark Hardy, "Bitcoin got off to a slow start but has attracted over a billion VC dollars in the last two years. Join me in Atlanta for a discussion on this brave new world of electronic money. Learn what it is, how it works, what it can (and cannot) do, and the probabilities of success or failure. I'll even talk about why crooks love Bitcoin for ransomware extortion and dig into the mechanics of credit card fraud."

SANS Atlanta 2017 offers a mix of courses. Those new to information security will benefit from the SEC301: Intro to Information Security and SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style courses.
