SANS Institute, the global leader in information security training, today announced the 2016 ICS Security Summit and Training taking place February 16 - 23 in Orlando, Florida. Top ICS experts and practitioners will share proven techniques that are working when dealing with targeted attacks. The "Defense is Doable" themed event will feature a unique program and contest designed to showcase the best collection of ICS Cybersecurity learning and networking opportunities in the industry.

"The 2016 summit will be different from past ICS Summits which have focused on the best approaches for keeping bad stuff from finding their way into systems. Over the years it has become clear that the technical security know-how and deliberate engineering decisions are increasingly more important to achieving ICS security success," said Mike Assante, SANS ICS Lead. "This summit will discuss the bridges that have been built to integrate engineering and tailor cybersecurity to secure ICS to meet this evolving need. SANS is bringing the largest collection of process equipment and ICS components to be used for demonstrations, structured challenges, games, and team simulations under one roof. Come join us and learn, meet and share, strategies for a strong ICS defense."

The SANS ISC Summit and Training will feature live demonstrations with the greatest collection of hands-on challenges and team-based simulations ever assembled in one event. ICS-focused courses instructed by industry leading experts will empower ICS security teams with the latest techniques for defending systems against attacks.
