  • Bethesda, MD
  • July 11, 2013

SANS today announced the addition of SANS CyberCon Fall 2013 online information security training event, Sept 9th - 14th, 2013. With sequestration still in place, organizations are finding themselves with training budgets, but drastically reduced travel budgets. This one-of-a-kind training event brings SANS' top instructors teaching SANS' top courses to those who can't travel.

"SANS CyberCon is a great option for organizations that need to spend their SANS voucher credits or training budgets before the end of the fiscal year. It is also perfect for organizations that have reduced or eliminated their travel budgets," states Steve Peterson, Director of SANS Online Training.

Here's what SANS CyberCon alumni from 2012 said about their training experience:

"CyberCon was the perfect solution for me......not having to cover travel was huge." - Mark Dirks with Steptoe & Johnson LLP

"Virtual training allows me to sit in my own comfy chair, wearing my comfiest clothes, while being exposed to some of the best thinking in the industry. Plus, there's no exhausting or costly travel!" - Robin Norris, EMC
