SANS Institute to Offer World-Class Computer Forensics Training at SANS Delhi 2013

  • New Delhi, IN
  • 28 February, 2013

To help information security and digital forensic professionals who need to master advanced intrusion investigations, incident response, and those looking to formalize and expand their malware forensic expertise, SANS will host SANS Delhi 2013, 1- 12 April.

Rob Lee, author of FOR508: Advanced Computer Forensics Analysis and Incident Response, states "a properly trained incident responder could be the only defense your organization has left during a compromise. This course is crucial training for you to become a lethal forensicator so that you can step up to these advanced threats. The enemy is good. We are better. This course will help you become one of the best."

Rob Lee, SANS Computer Forensics curriculum lead, adds "Professionals who are looking for a challenging course to forward their careers should consider Reverse Engineering Malware as one of the next steps in your path to becoming a lethal forensicator."

The updated Advanced Computer Forensics Analysis and Incident Response course trains digital forensic analysts and incident response teams to identify, contain, and remediate sophisticated threats-including APT groups and financial crime syndicates. The FOR610: Reverse Engineering Malware course begins by covering this topic from an introductory level and quickly progresses to discuss tools and techniques of intermediate complexity. Overall, the goal of the course is to act as a practical way for the motivated technologists to enter the field of malware analysis and reversing.

SANS Delhi 2013 will feature hands-on training with SANS Certified Instructor Jess Garcia. For more information or to register, please visit: http://www.sans.org/info/125677
