SANS Provides Students Remote Access to its Largest Infosec Training Event of the Year, SANS 2013

Event Simulcast Provides Students Live, Interactive Access to SANS' Top Information Security Training Classes

  • Bethesda, MD
  • February 7, 2013

In response to student demand, SANS Institute today announced eight top courses presented at its largest training event of the year, SANS 2013, will be made available via live simulcast. SANS Event Simulcast offers a convenient way for students to get the best security training available as it is happening, directly from their laptop. No travel expenses incurred; no canned presentations. SANS 2013 will be held in Orlando, March 8 - 15.

"SANS Event Simulcast is a cost-effective option for students with budget limitations or travel bans," said Steve Peterson, Director of Live Virtual Training. "Real-time streaming enables students to experience some of the industry's most popular training courses as they are happening. Because Event Simulcast classes are live and interactive, students have the ability to ask questions and share experiences with their instructor and classmates."

For greater convenience, Event Simulcast classes are recorded and placed in an online archive, enabling access if students are called away from the live event or wish to view the material again at a later date. Students registered for simulcast event classes will receive the same books, discs, and MP3 audio files that in-person participants receive, and will see and hear the same information as it is presented at the live event without travel.

Reserve your seat today to attend remotely at SANS 2013 and gain valuable training to advance your career. For complete details and to register, please visit:

Event Simulcast will also be offered at SANS Security West 2013 and SANSFIRE 2013. For more information on SANS' Event Simulcast including upcoming courses along with dates and times please visit: or email
