CIS Controls v8.1

The CIS Critical Security Controls help organizations move from limited visibility to a defensible, well-governed cybersecurity posture. By identifying and closing common gaps, the Controls establish a strong foundation that prepares organizations to adopt more advanced security capabilities.

The Implementation Groups provide a prioritized path for reducing cyber risk, while the Controls emphasize assurance through implementation, measurement, automation, and reporting.
