Role Description 

The Risk Management function within the SAP GRC suite is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact an organization’s operations, financial performance, and reputation. Risk managers evaluate threats and vulnerabilities, apply risk scoring frameworks, and align mitigation strategies with business goals to ensure resilience and compliance.

BLUF 

Risk Management professionals must evolve from understanding basic security frameworks (T1) to applying risk scoring and mitigation practices (T2–T3), and ultimately into strategic alignment of risk with business outcomes and enterprise-wide oversight (T4–T5). The following roadmap provides that growth path.
