Role Description 

The Security Program Manager acts as a strategic leader bridging technical security and organizational objectives. They safeguard sensitive data, mitigate risks, oversee compliance, and ensure SAP systems operate smoothly. By aligning security initiatives with business strategy, they help the organization anticipate threats, manage risks, and stay resilient.

BLUF 

Security Program Managers need to evolve from foundational security knowledge (T1) to applied program and risk management (T2–T3), and ultimately into strategic enterprise leadership (T4–T5). This roadmap ensures they can lead security initiatives, measure performance, and align security programs to business goals while adapting to emerging technologies.
