Seth is a DFIR practitioner, investigator, and instructor specializing in developing and leading digital forensics and incident response capability across complex and high-consequence environments. He is the Director and Principal Analyst at Lykos Defence, where he works with organizations across APAC to build and mature their IR programs through strategic planning, playbook development, hands-on training, simulation exercises, and forensic readiness. He also teaches FOR508: Advanced Incident Response, Threat Hunting, and Digital Forensics.
Seth's experience spans both enterprise IT and operational technology (OT) networks, including power generation, manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, and public-sector environments. He focuses on bridging the gap between technical analysis and executive decision-making, translating complex findings into clear, defensible, and actionable recommendations.
Seth is the author of Cybersecurity for Small Networks and of the Incident Response Maturity Model whitepaper published by Lykos Defence. He has also contributed to multiple industry publications including Dragos' Incident Response for Operational Technology Guidance and SANS papers on detection, analysis, and procedural rigor in DFIR. His research and practitioner insights have appeared in Cyber Daily, and he has presented at the SANS ICS Security Summit, PancakesCon, and in multiple SANS webcasts.
Seth is recognized for developing and scaling high-performing DFIR teams, and for turning lessons learned during real intrusions into repeatable workflows that help defenders operate with precision and confidence when it matters most.
