Employment Support

Cyber security companies and organisations will be engaged throughout the programme, many with open vacancies they are looking to fill with graduates of Upskill in Cyber.

Alongside actively interviewing participants during the programme, they will also be delivering evening talks, hosting virtual sessions to showcase their organisations and increase awareness of the industry, as well as lending some of their staff to help mentor and guide you through your programme studies.

In addition, there will also be virtual sessions provided with a focus on developing the ‘soft skills’ of the students. To work successfully in the cyber security industry, this requires seamless teamwork, problem solving, communication, and in some instances, confident leadership skills. The programme aims to help individuals to develop these skills and in turn, improve the employability of all students.  To find out how to support our graduates please email cyberacademy@sans.org.
