Ben Hanson

Ben Hanson is a Senior Security Architect at Microsoft, and a recognised expert and thought leader in a broad range of risk, security, identity, and cloud subjects. He is unapologetically business-centric in his approach to security, and a strong advocate for the cultural and people dynamics of security and change, in addition to the transformational role of technology. At Microsoft he works most often with the security and transformation leaders at the largest global systemic banks and financial services organisations.

A 25-year veteran in the industry, before joining Microsoft he led the Cyber and InfoSec practise for a renowned US-based management consultancy, and before this he helped to establish and lead the global Enterprise Architecture team for one of the largest engineering design firms in the world.
