Andy Hanks is a Chief Government Strategist at Tanium with more than 30 years of experience in information technology; including 17 years focused on information security, regulatory compliance, and data privacy. Prior to joining Tanium, Hanks served as Senior Director at the Center for Internet Security, Chief Information Security Officer at the State of Montana, and Global Security Program Manager at IBM. Hanks earned a Master of Science degree in information systems from Drexel University, holds multiple cybersecurity certifications, and is a graduate of the FBI CISO Academy.
