Andy Bochman

Andy is a triple-threat risk reduction speaker, author and advisor, offering strategic guidance on topics at the intersection of critical infrastructure and cyber, AI and physical climate threats. He advises INL leadership as well as senior U.S. and international government and industry leaders. in 2021 he published Countering Cyber Sabotage: Introducing Consequence-based Cyber-Informed Engineering (CRC Press). An Atlantic Council non-resident senior fellow, one of Andy’s most recent articles “De-risking GenAI use in Control Centers,” was presented to Edison Electric International’s Global Electrification Forum in May. Research for his second book covered cyber, AI, climate and kinetic risks to electric grids and other critical infrastructures in the US and around the world. His previous organizations include the US Air Force, IBM, and the Chertoff Group in Washington, DC.
