Contact UsThe Southeastern Cyber Workforce Alliance (SECWA) is a pioneering program dedicated to expanding the skilled cybersecurity workforce of the southeastern United States. Aligning with the NICE Strategic Plan and the National Cyber Strategy, SECWA aims to identify and engage untapped talent across various under-resourced communities in the cybersecurity field. This U.S. Cyber Academy program is open to applicants who are either U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
Stage 1: Cyber Foundations: Gain essential skills with the SEC275 course and GIAC certification.
Stage 2: Undergraduate Certificate Scholarships: Top performers advance to pursue further certifications and career opportunities with SANS EDU Applied Cybersecurity Certificate (ACS).

Program seats are open to all career changers and job seekers not currently working in cybersecurity. We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including those from under-resourced communities and untapped talent pools.
Eligible applicants must reside in one of the following states or districts: Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, or the District of Columbia.
This U.S. Cyber Academy program is open to applicants who are either U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
