Generative AI has changed the ground on which our organisations operate. Convincing messages appear instantly. Identity can be convincingly faked. We can focus on the technical aspects of AI all we like, but if we don’t set the right strategies about how trust is formed, authority is recognised, and learning is shaped we won’t cultivate AI the way we need to for success.
Drawing on more than 35 years in IT training, education, and public-sector security roles—including advisory work with UK government and financial regulators—John Scott examines how generative AI exposes long-standing assumptions rather than creating entirely new risks. Together we will explore how trust can grow quickly without depth, why identity has shifted toward recognised authority, and why education must now prioritise judgement over output.
