Contact UsThe rapid adoption and growth of cloud computing solutions across industry sectors and application families is driven by the many advantages of cloud computing technologies. These include faster deployments, better scalability, improved vendor support and faster security patching, access to newer technology, better resilience, fault tolerance, and recovery options - all at a lower cost.
Current NERC CIP standards make implementation of cloud solutions for control systems (BES Cyber Assets) and supporting security infrastructure (Electronic Access Control or Monitoring Systems and Physical Access Control Systems) impossible. Security solutions not directly subject to NERC CIP standards that require BES Cyber System Information to operate (such as anti-malware systems) are also challenging to implement as cloud solutions, especially if the organization's goal is to have an integrated, uniform cloud environment.
