Detecting AI in OSINT Investigations

This presentation will equip attendees with the knowledge and tools necessary to identify AI-generated images in their investigative practices. Attendees will gain a deep understanding of the AI-generated image landscape including topics on different methods used to generate images and how these methods create realistic photos. Jeff will cover the common traits associated with AI images, explain why these traits are ubiquitous in the industry, and how to spot mistakes made by generative AI models. Real life examples will be used to provide attendees with resources, tools, and best practices on how to detect deception in AI-generated images.
