It is therefore important to be able to understand the business requirements and be able to translate these into a public network presence with security in mind. A security policy is derived to provide guidelines on how to best conduct business with security, confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility in mind. Security is a vast area; therefore it is not possible to cover all aspects in the scope of this paper. The paper will focus on some aspects of a security policy with an aim to protect assets from risk.
