However, this has almost exclusively reflected IP address-based geolocation, a far less precise data point than a GPS coordinate. This paper will compare the precision of IP address location data to that of GPS coordinates, to determine if the increased available precision of GPS coordinates provides sufficient enhancement in value to justify expanding the use of GPS coordinates for authentication. |
