Volkan Erturk

Volkan is a security expert with over 25 years of hands-on experience in information security, security operations, IT, and risk management. He led technical projects and provided advice and security solutions to CISOs and security managers in the public and private sectors. Volkan holds various certifications and is an occasional blogger and speaker at security conferences. He also contributed to NATO Science for Peace and Security program as a cyber defense specialist and instructor. He worked on "Continuous Security Monitoring utilizing Security Metrics" and "Cyber Security Control Validation" topics during his M.S. in Information Systems and Ph.D. studies respectively.
