Travis Berent is a director for security business strategy at Microsoft, where he helps lead the company’s approach to incident response strategy and cybersecurity partnerships. Prior to joining Microsoft, Travis served as the National Security Council director for cybersecurity policy and cyber incident response at the White House. He previously held multiple positions at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), including in the New York field office and at FBI Cyber Division headquarters. Travis holds a master’s degree in international relations from Harvard University and a B.S. in intelligence studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
