About Teri Green

Teri Green is an award winning cybersecurity and technology leader specializing in AI security, governance, and operational risk in production environments. Her work focuses on how autonomous and generative AI systems reshape enterprise attack surfaces, and how organizations can defend, govern, and deploy AI responsibly without slowing innovation or eroding trust.

With nearly two decades of experience across cybersecurity, enterprise technology, and regulated environments, Teri has led real world implementations spanning AI governance, identity driven security, incident response modernization, and large scale technology risk management. She is known for translating emerging AI risk into measurable controls, including enterprise AI inventory methodologies, detection of AI mediated data leakage and credential exposure, and governance models that function beyond policy documents. Teri is the creator of the Encrypted Diversity Framework and the EQxAI Emotional Intelligence and AI Ethics Engine, which integrate accountability, ethical decision making, and cybersecurity controls directly into AI enabled systems. She is also the author of the first children's book to teach AI ethics, cybersecurity, and digital citizenship in an accessible and age appropriate way. The book recently received the Gold Literary Titan Award 2025. Her current applied research and advisory work focus on shadow AI discovery, agentic system risk, AI inventory and risk scoring, and aligning frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and SANS AI Controls with operational security teams. She regularly advises organizations navigating AI adoption, governance design, and incident readiness in environments where AI is already in use. Teri is a Gold Winner of the WomenTech Global Awards for Cybersecurity Leader of the Year 2025 and a C100 Top 100 CISO for 2026 with CISO Connect. She is recognized for blending deep technical expertise with executive level clarity, emphasizing tested implementations, documented failures, and practical guidance practitioners can apply immediately.
