Steve de Vera

Steve de Vera is a Senior Security Engineer with AWS Security Incident Response, where he focuses on threat research. He has over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, spanning roles in incident response, red teaming, and threat intelligence.  He is also a co-inventor on a U.S. patent for a system that standardizes security incident data so LLMs and other tools can use it.  Outside of work, he is a certified competition BBQ judge and has a dog named Brisket.
