Sherman Chu

As the CTI lead for BlackRock, Sherman Chu focuses on applying threat-informed defense to empower security through systematic adversary analyses. He specializes in threat intelligence, incident response, threat hunting, and detection engineering.

Previously, Sherman was a threat management solution manager, led the technical threat intelligence team at New York City Cyber Command, performed analyst roles at Citi and Flashpoint, and is a US Army veteran.
