Seth Summersett is the CEO and Founder of Embed Security. As CEO, Seth leads Embed in building its agentic security platform to support overburdened security teams.. Seth’s deep technical expertise across malware analysis, incident response, endpoint and network security, and applied machine learning, is shaped by a career spent building innovative tools, leading teams, and responding to real-world threats. Prior to founding Embed, Seth spent a decade at the NSA and held leadership positions at both Mandiant and FireEye, where he drove customer-centric innovations across security products, custom engineering, and applied machine learning. Following FireEye, he served as Head of Security Partners at Facebook (Meta). Seth holds a Master’s in computer science from Johns Hopkins University.
