Ross McKerchar

Ross McKerchar is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Sophos. Over his 18 years with the company, he has successfully established, scaled, and matured Sophos’ Cybersecurity program. Responsible for all aspects of Sophos's own Cybersecurity, the CISO team helps keep our customers safe by keeping Sophos's products, infrastructure and services safe. As part of the wider Sophos X-Ops group, Ross also leads a Threat Intelligence research team responsible for communicating emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and practical defences to the public. Ross believes that deep expertise, authenticity and transparency are key to achieving the teams core goal: becoming the most trusted brand in cybersecurity.
