Riché Wiley is a Cybersecurity Specialist at IA, a leading global interior architecture firm serving clients across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. Before joining IA’s help desk in 2022 and launching a career in IT, they worked in emergency medical services, on a horse farm, and managed craft-beer-focused bars and restaurants. While completing their associate program amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a digital forensics capstone sparked a passion for cybersecurity and inspired them to complete SANS Technology Institute’s bachelor’s program. As a new career changer, Riché offers firsthand insight into turning unconventional experience and volunteer opportunities into valuable skills.
