Rex Johnson

Rex Johnson is the VP, Cybersecurity & Cloud Services for CAI. He has more than 30 years of senior-level management experience encompassing IT, cybersecurity, privacy, digital forensics and analysis, and enterprise risk management. He has assisted numerous organizations in assessing and reducing risk, leading to improved operations and security maturity. He has provided both technical and advisory services for a variety of industries. He is also an advocate for neurodiversity employment in IT and cybersecurity.

Prior to joining CAI, he held similar roles with Computer Science Corporation, Deloitte, and Cap Gemini. Rex is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army. He serves on the board for the Diana Initiative, a not-for-profit that aims to support underrepresented people such as minorities, women, and the neurodivergent into cybersecurity roles. He has an MBA from the University of Kansas and carries the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.
