Ray Hawkins

Ray has 25 years experience in cybersecurity. He was a Banyan Vines network admin many years ago and was asked to troubleshoot a hacked web server. It was a fun challenge for him, but also made him mad-he knew he had a learning curve to conquer right away and understand how to defend our systems and infrastructure. He enjoys training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He also volunteers to coach baseball/softball and as a leader in Boy Scouts. His advise on having a successful experience in a SANS course is to "Minimize distractions and take copious notes!"
