Pieter Batsleer

Pieter Batsleer has been serving as a Cyber Strategy Senior Manager at NVISO for six years, where he aids both medium and large organizations in crafting and implementing their cybersecurity strategies and to deal with cyber security compliance challenges.

His role as solution lead is overseeing information security Governance, Risk, and Compliance projects, generally for enterprise customers. At the time of this webinar, Pieter has advised around 10-15 companies on NIS 2 compliance.

Prior to his current role, Pieter was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte for nearly five years. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in third-party assurance projects, risk management engagements, and IT audits. Besides earning his Master's Degree in Applied Economics from Ghent University. Pieter holds several cybersecurity certifications including CISSP, CISM, and has successfully passed the CISA & ISO27001 Lead Implementer Exams. Additionally, he is certified in ITILv4, Prince2, and COBIT5.
