Pete Jarrett

Pete is passionate about supporting learners who struggle with mathematics and learning in general. As a dyslexic with ADD, Pete can appreciate how difficult life in an education system that has little tolerance for individual difference can be.

For this reason, after many years in the classroom, Pete became an AMBDA qualified teacher and assessor specializing in maths learning difficulties and dyscalculia. This has been, and remains, a key focus of his work.

He is Chair of the BDA Dyscalculia and Maths Learning Difficulties Committee, and a member of several working groups, boards and committees.
