Dr. Mike Cohen joined Rapid 7 in 2021 to continue work on velociraptor, an advanced open source endpoint visibility tool. He has worked as a software engineer for the Australian Federal Police and a Staff Software Engineer at Google. At Google, he developed a number of projects, including GRR - an advanced incident response and remote forensics tool, Rekall a memory analysis and forensic framework, and worked on Google cloud IAM. He has a Ph.D from The Australian National University.
