Mick Deben

Mick is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 12 years of experience in information security management and cybersecurity consulting. Throughout his career, he has worked across multiple sectors, including higher education and research, telecommunications, healthcare, small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMB), and local government.

His expertise spans a wide range of cybersecurity domains, providing organizations with tailored security strategies and solutions to protect their critical assets and information. He actively contributes in working groups at Cyberveilig Nederland to make the Dutch society more secure.

He holds a BSc in Information Security Management and a MSc in Cyber Security, complementing his academic background with several industry-recognized certifications.

He is known for his deep understanding of cybersecurity, both from a technical and organizational perspective, and is passionate about staying at the forefront of emerging threats and technologies.
