How I got started:
After starting my IT career in hardware, I was asked to move into Systems. This led me down a path or server and router configuration, which in turn led me to learn the most secure way to configure the devices and how to restore compromised systems.
How to Rock a SANS Course:
Since I work with OnDemand, I think working at the course a little every day is key. Since students get 4-months to work through the course, it may be harder to remember what was learned if too many days go by.
