Matt Kennedy

With nearly two decades of experience in cyber operations, defense, forensics, and intelligence analysis, Matt’s comfortable as both attacker and defender. His enthusiasm, energy, and patience, paired with such a rich and diverse background makes him an ideal SEC401 certified instructor candidate where a vast course meets a broad spectrum of students.

Currently he is an exploitation analyst for the U.S. Air Force and Founder and President of Purple Team Tactics, LLC. He has earned GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, GDSA, Security+, and Offensive Security’s Wireless Professional (OSWP) certifications, and is a SANS Advisory board member. He authored the U.S. Army’s Computer Network Assessment Battery preparation material, is a Certified Instructor for the Air Force’s Cyber Warfare Schoolhouse, and Certified Instructor for the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center’s (DC3) Cyber Training Academy.
