Marin Ivezic

Marin Ivezic has spent over 30 years in cybersecurity staying ahead of threats—especially the weird ones like cyber-kinetic attacks, quantum threats, or worrying about AI risks long before it was trendy. He’s the founder of Applied Quantum, advising companies and governments on how not to panic about quantum threats (and maybe even do something useful about them).

Marin regularly writes and speaks on quantum security, sharing practical advice, debunking hype, and occasionally making quantum jokes. He’s optimistic we can all prepare for the quantum threat in time, as long as we start now—though just in case, he spends every spare moment hiking, snowboarding, and generally hiding out in the Alps, far from any tech.
