Luis Garcia

Luis Garcia is a Senior Security Engineer at Daylight, where he focuses on threat hunting, detection engineering, and applying AI-driven workflows to security operations. He has extensive experience leading and supporting digital forensics, incident response, and threat investigation efforts across enterprise environments.

Prior to joining Daylight, Luis was an Incident Response Expert at Sygnia and a Digital Forensics and Incident Response Consultant at Stroz Friedberg, an Aon company. Throughout his career, he has investigated ransomware incidents, business email compromises, cloud security breaches, and advanced threat actor activity across a wide range of industries.

Luis holds multiple GIAC certifications, including GCFA, GCFE, and GCFR. His work combines hands-on DFIR expertise with practical approaches to scaling threat hunting and investigative workflows.
