In 2012, he decided to change careers and purchased FOR408 Windows Forensics OnDemand (now FOR500). After finishing the course, he obtained an entry level job with a digital forensics firm in Dallas and has been in the business for 10 years. He is also a licensed attorney.

His advice to students is "Don't get bogged down in minutia. There are many potential rabbit trails one could take. Stay focused on the most important topics the instructor focuses on, and just keep going."
