Justin De Luna

Justin De Luna is a Senior Consultant with Unit 42, Palo Alto Networks, specializing in digital forensics, incident response, and malware analysis. He has extensive experience responding to and investigating complex ransomware, phishing, zero-day exploits, account compromises, and advanced nation-state campaigns. Prior to joining Unit 42, Justin served as a Senior Cyber Incident Response Analyst at the Center for Internet Security (CIS), specifically within the MS-ISAC. In this role, he managed critical cyber incidents for state, local, tribal, and territorial government agencies, performing detailed endpoint, network, and host log forensics and response. Previously, he worked as a Security Analyst as a contractor for the DoE. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Cyber Operations from Excelsior University and numerous certifications. He also runs the website http://thedfirspot.com, where he shares DFIR analysis techniques.
