John Walker

John Walker is the Director of Security Research and Data Science at BeyondTrust. He's spent his career focusing on challenging problems across many domains at CrowdStrike and Tenable and other companies. Currently he leads a team focused on building a rich cross-domain model of paths to privilege and the controls on those paths, which they're applying heuristics and data science to in order to mine security insights and detect attacker behavior in novel ways.

The team also drives early stage development of BeyondTrust Identity Security Insights, a new product based on this connected model.   

In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors, travel, and trying to understand and experience as much of the world as possible.
