About John Bryk

John Bryk retired as a Colonel from the U.S. Air Force after a distinguished 30-year career that included the award of the Bronze Star Medal in Afghanistan. His military career includes overseeing Space Shuttle launches, leading red-team exercises to hijack USAF aircraft in-flight, and serving as a diplomat in Europe. Following his military service, Bryk worked with the Defense Intelligence Agency as a U.S. Intelligence Officer before transitioning to the private sector to defend National Critical Infrastructure. He holds multiple master’s degrees and certifications in both Cyber and Physical Security. His service dog, Dole, is named in honor of the late Senator Bob Dole from Kansas. Dole the dog has an unusual interest in turtles.
