Jeff Rutherford

Jeff Rutherford served as a Supervisory Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 2003 until his retirement in 2024.

He specialized in Organized Crime, Crimes Against Children, Counter Terrorism, and Cyber investigations. Jeff earned certifications as a Technically Trained Agent and an FBI Certified Digital Forensic Examiner, along with additional certifications from IACIS (CFCE) and SANS (GCFA). He has testified in both State and Federal courts and conducted digital forensic examinations for various agencies at the North Texas Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory.

In 2024, Jeff joined Magnet Forensics as a Forensic Consultant.
