Jay James

Jay James is a cybersecurity professional with over a decade of progressive experience across data loss prevention, incident response, cybersecurity operations at a leadership capacity. Currently serving as the Senior Cybersecurity Operations Lead at Auburn University, Jay combines strategic planning, leadership, and technical expertise to manage enterprise cybersecurity initiatives and align risk and compliance with operational security. In recognition of his significant contributions to the field, Jay was honored as the "Mid-Career Professional of the Year" for the Americas in the ISC2 Global Achievement Awards 2023.
