Jai Salters

Jai Salters, a Manhattan native, enlisted in the U.S. Navy on September 11, 2002, as a Cryptologic Technician and rose to Chief Petty Officer before commissioning as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer. He holds multiple degrees, including a master’s in Cybersecurity Information Assurance.

Driven to ease the military-to-civilian transition, Jai founded ACT Now Education, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving over 100,000 members with free certifications, training, and career resources. Its mission: help 1,000 veterans and spouses secure tech careers by 2027.

He also founded MilMentor, a mentorship platform, and leads Service To Success, a workforce initiative connecting transitioning service members to employers. Honored with the Spirit of Hope Award and named to The MIGHTY 25, Jai continues to champion education, mentorship, and opportunity for the military community.
